From September 2026 we are delighted to be able offer a provision for up to 30 funded hours a week for children in nursery, term time only. Every child is entitled to 15 hours government funding per week, which will remain as mornings for the academic year 2026/27. Provision for up to 30hrs is available as either funded sessions, for which parents must provide a code for prior to starting or as additional paid for sessions. The 15 hours will be 5 mornings (9-12).

Lunchtime will operate during the day between 12:00pm and 12:45pm. If your child is staying all day you can either provide your child with a packed lunch or your child can choose a hot school meal. A hot school meal, provided by HCL, is at a cost of £2.85 per day. School provides a healthy snack in the morning at no extra cost.

Other optional add-ons Sessions start at 9.00am but we are able to offer an early drop off from 8.35am each day. These sessions are charged at £3.00 per day and must be booked in advance.

If your child is staying for the morning session only and you wish them to stay for lunch club then this can be booked at an additional cost of £5.00 per day. You can either provide your child with a packed lunch or your child can choose a hot or cold school meal. A school meal is at a cost of £2.85 per day. Pick up will then be 12.45pm.

If your child is not entitled to 30 funded hours but you would like them to do any additional afternoon sessions, these are bookable in advance for the half term and are charged at £18.00 per session.

Dundale has 30 places maximum. 

 

Places for the current academic year 2025-2026 are for 15hours from 9am to 12pm term time only. 

All applications must be made directly to the school.  The online application system for the current year is now closed, however, if you would like to apply for a Nursery place for the current academic year, please complete a paper application form and return it to the school office, posted to:
